1 Our Commitment

RivoCard Ltd operates in full compliance with applicable Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) regulations. We maintain a zero-tolerance policy toward the use of our platform for any illegal financial activity.

2 Know Your Customer (KYC)

All users must complete identity verification to access Rivocard services. Limits increase with each verification tier:

KYC Level Requirements Spending Limits
Basic KYC Email + identity confirmation Up to $1,000/day
Full KYC Government ID + proof of address Up to $10,000/day
Enhanced KYC Additional documentation Up to $50,000/day

3 Transaction Monitoring

All transactions are monitored in real time by our automated compliance systems. We flag and review:

  • Unusually large or rapid transactions inconsistent with account history
  • Transactions involving high-risk jurisdictions
  • Multiple accounts linked to the same identity or device
  • Structured transactions designed to avoid reporting thresholds

4 Prohibited Activities

🚫 The following activities are strictly prohibited and will result in immediate account suspension.

  • Money laundering or layering of illicit funds
  • Financing terrorism or sanctioned individuals/entities
  • Purchasing illegal goods, services, or content
  • Circumventing OFAC, EU, or UN sanctions programs
  • Any activity that violates applicable laws in your jurisdiction

5 Sanctions Screening

All users are screened against international sanctions lists including:

  • OFAC (US Office of Foreign Assets Control)
  • EU Consolidated List
  • UN Security Council Sanctions List

Accounts matching sanctioned individuals or entities will be immediately suspended and reported to the relevant authorities.

6 Suspicious Activity Reporting

Where required by law, Rivocard will file Suspicious Activity Reports (SARs) with the relevant Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU). We are legally prohibited from notifying the account holder of such reports (“tipping off”).

7 Record Keeping

Rivocard retains transaction records and identity verification documents for a minimum of 5 years after account closure, as required by financial regulations. Records may be provided to regulatory authorities upon lawful request.

8 Your Responsibilities

By using Rivocard, you confirm that:

  • All funds you deposit are from legitimate, lawful sources
  • You are not acting on behalf of any sanctioned individual or entity
  • All KYC information provided is accurate and truthful
  • You will promptly provide additional documentation when requested for compliance

9 Account Suspension

Rivocard reserves the right to suspend, restrict, or close any account suspected of violating this AML Policy, and to freeze associated funds pending investigation or regulatory instruction.
